About Our Practice
Meet "Dr. Val"
Dr. Valerie Woo grew up in the local Washington, DC area and received her undergraduate degree at University of Maryland, College Park. She went on to Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received her D.M.D. cum laude and completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Childrenīs Hospital, Boston.
As part of her training, Dr. Woo learned to care for children with special needs, such as physical or mental disabilities. She will advise parents on medicine, diet, and dental care techniques for their special needs child. This training makes her the dentist of choice for many adults with special needs, as well.
Dr. Woo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Val lives in Loudoun County with her husband, Michael, their daughter, Olivia and son, Gavin.
