 Upon your arrival, please say hello to our friendly staff that will assist you during your check-in. Dr. Courtney will be notified that you have arrived and you, or you and your child, will be escorted to the exam area. At this first visit, our objective is to identify the long-term orthodontic needs for you or your child. You will be taken on a tour of the office, and each patient will receive a thorough orthodontic examination by Dr. Courtney. One of three outcomes will be determined:
We will review all findings in detail with you and discuss any questions or areas of concern you may have. If treatment is recommended, comprehensive records will be taken to be used for a thorough evaluation of your smile and bite. These consist of digital photographs, digital x-rays, and models of the teeth to compliment the orthodontic exam. Dr. Courtney will then sit down and take time to review your case specifically, outlining your personalized treatment options which she will thoroughly explain in detail prior to starting treatment. Treatment plans and options are presented to you, and your input will be used to formulate your unique treatment plan. Financing options are also discussed, and any questions you might have can be answered. Your initial examination is free. If you decide to have full records taken, there will be a $150.00 fee for your x-rays, molds of your teeth, and orthodontic photographs. However, should you decide to continue treatment with Dr. Courtney, this fee is deducted from the overall cost of treatment. Thank you for choosing our office for your orthodontic evaluation.
